About the author.

Hey everyone. I'm Dan Vallerand, a person who enjoys writing and drawing stuff for fun (which is why this site exists.) Now this page is about the author, and since I'm the only one who writes stuff here, I'll tell some stuff. My interests include singing, writing, drawing, and music. As of 6/22/05, I have written over 30 different stories since at least 1998 (when I was 8), and has improved over the course of time. I believe that my earliest drawings and stories, while interesting, are horrendous and scary because of its cheesiness. However, I also use ideas from them and other various kinds of stuff (usually TV shows, songs, games etc..) and mold them into originalities which I hope everyone will likey and won't get me in trouble. (But for the most part, no matter how much I pimp these writings and drawings which ARE interesting if you just imagine, people don't pay attention.)

I'm not famous and none of my work has ever really been published anywhere unless I did it myself (They got no brains! For shame, I say!) but I try my best to make imaginative things. Currently, my main focus is on being a musician, which is one reason why this site isn't updated often. The other reason is because I'm lazy. Since nobody (except for one or two people) helps me, it also means I can doze off from what this stuff is. (Or, if you're confused, then here's a statement - I have little motivation to do stuff like this since I don't really seem to get any praise. (or even non-praise)).

Other than what I've listed above, my other interests include TV shows and a few anime, and let's not forget games. My favorite TV shows include Doctor Who (in my opinion, the best sci-fi series ever, and if you disagree you are wrong), M*A*S*H, South Park, Chappelle's Show, and others. Some of my favorite animes include Slayers and Inuyasha. Cartoons include Futurama and Family Guy, and my favorite games are the Doom series (but I haven't played Doom 3 because of those STUPID frickin' new-age B.S. about requiring high-tech graphic cards that really burn a hole in yer pocket and I don't own or have room for an X-Box), the Earthworm Jim series, the Sonic the Hedgehog series, the Wolfenstein series, and a few others. My favorite bands include the Beatles, ELO, and the Move. I also have a heart condition, which is called Tetralogy of Fallot, or basically holes in your heart valve. The heart condition (and its scar) is one of the things I've implemented in the 'Dan' character, or at least the scar, if you're wondering.

Anyways, that should give you a condensed look at me without spilling anything too personal. Enjoy what the site has to offer!
